Ouch!  Sad story but glad you are okay.  Sounds like a fuel line popped
off. This happened to me but without the fire.  When I pulled into the
parking lot fuel was dripping down by the bucketful, but I was lucky.

Forget about restoring this, it won't be worth it.  Typically, insurance
companies will let you buy the van back after they total it for around
20% of the fair market value.  They determine fair market value, and it
should include your pro-rated license fee, sales tax, and any other
taxes you might pay on a vehicle in your state.  Make sure they check
comparable sales in your area for a valuation.

You can decide if it is worth it to you to buy it back for parts.  See
if the listees need anything off of it, and what they are willing to
pay.
