Subject: Re: Paint color on a weekender I saw?
Content-type: multipart/alternative;

On April 20, Leif posted:

"I spotted a late model weekender with a gorgeous "midnight blue" paint job" ... "Anyone know the paint color name and code?"

I have a 1988 Wolfsburg Edition Weekender with what I believe to be the color scheme Leif inquired about. The color is a very deep blue (with slight metallic look), and the bus has gray trim and interior. The color name is Orly Blue and the paint code is LP5Z (from sticker under dash) and the order number at VW is L-OP5-Z02. -- Mark A. Williamson Denver, CO 88 Wolfsburg Weekender (135K)
