Tony:

Sorry about the fire.

Before the inevitable deluge of anti-Eurovan posts, let me say that I went from a 1988 Westy to a 1995 Eurobago (5 speed).

Space utilization and camping equipment (westfalia) was superior in the Westy. Motor, transmission, and creature comforts are superior in the Eurobago.

Reliability is about equal, that is not very good.

Driving range is outstanding.

Fuel consumption is close to a draw.

Torque is great, and well-matched to the vehicle.

Hope this helps.

Dan
