Pew! You must be running a *huge* diameter exhaust pipe for a cat to have
crawled up there and died! And the smell of a decomposing cat... I'm
surprised you didn't notice it sooner.

And if it meows, its a good bet it hasn't decomposed completely yet, and you
may *not* need a new cat, just teach him to stay away from exhaust pipes...
I once fired up my old VW Rabbit one fall morning at caught the neighbor's
cat in the fan belt. Cat got away more or less unharmed, but I'll bet he
never napped under my hood anymore!
