Subject: Chevy Small Block Swap

-- [ From: John Rodgers * EMC.Ver #2.5.02 ] --

The idea of swapping the Wasserleaker for the Chevy small block V-6 continues to intrigue me. And the new MSDS swap kit is really drawing my attention.

Just wondered if anyone had any experience with such a thing and could speak to the weight change issues, handling due to changes in center of mass, vibratin, weight distribution, etc. Any spring sagging. etc. Do heavier duty springs or shorks have to be installed. What is the gas mileage, and how does it compare to the original engine. Any problems in servicing. Can you find anyone to work on it, the van with the new engine being a hybrid. How does fuel consumption compare with original engine, etc, etc, etc, etc.

Thanks for the input. (Sudir..where are you??)

John Rodgers "88 GL Driver in New Mexico.
