Hello to all. I am just starting to look around for a used syncro vanagon. I have owned CJ's and really miss the 4 wheel drive. I do lots of camping, back country hiking, and mt. biking. While my GTI VR6 kicks ass on the highway, it doesn't get me and my buddies and our bikes/ packs etc out on the weekends. I would love to hear from folks in the MD, DC, VA area regarding any used sycro's for sale. Also, any advice on years/models. 93's and newer have been recomended b/c of the 5 cylinders, but I am just looking for a solid weekend/recreation vehicle, so cost is one consideration.

TIA, Mike
