Thinking on all the fridge posts I have seen over the years and comparing them with the performance of my own fridge I have concluded that these are not so much refridgerators as they are "Self-Propelled Icechests". Performing about the same as a good Coleman or Igloo but not needing the ice. If you use them as you would a Coleman (pre-cool stuff, keep it out of the sun, etc) it gives pretty good service. On occasion you will see posts from some fortunate folks who "complain" of their milk freezing when they toured Death Valley in the summer but these are very much the exception.. Depending on how cruddy things are back there you may be able to squeeze a few more degrees out of your Dometic by taking it apart and cleaning out the working parts (burner, flue, etc.) but that's about it. ----- Original Message ----- From: Ken Korn <kkorn@JUMP.NET> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Monday, April 26, 1999 3:41 PM Subject: Dometic Temperature
