Dear Brian,
Projektzwo (http://www.projektzwo.de) has Vanagon rims in 6", 7", 8" and 9" all with the proper offset. You can probably have them imported by VW Sport of Arlington Virginia (http://www.germancardesign.com).
NOTE 1: PZ wheels are made by Mangels of Brazil (http://www.mangels.com.br). I would bet that some enterprising soul on the list could import these wheels directly from Mangels and save us all a bundle!!!! Anyone speak Portuguese? hint, hint...
NOTE 2: Stock US Vanagon rims came in 5.5" (steel) and 6" (aluminum).
I installed 7x14" chrome/steel rims on my van and feel that the width of the rim contributes to the overall good handling, even with 27"x8/5 BFG off-road tires.
NOTE 3: very wide rims such as 9" will require "modifying" your fender flares.
Cheers, MJS
