It probably wasn't seating right b/c the shop that pulled it also had a little jar of "anti-tamper" paint which they used to cover up the evidence. I have seen unmolested anti-tamper paint and it should be just a small dab over a seam. IF it is globbed on and certainly if it is in the seam, it is probably cover up. My 2cents. mike
