A few years back on the way home from a bike race, with my time trial bike, toolbox, and various other race supplies littering the rear bed of the Westy I spied an armchair recliner sitting forlornly on someone's lawn. I screeched to a halt, confirmed with the owner that it was mine for the taking, and we loaded it through the slider into the van. I pulled into our driveway and said to my wife "Honey I brought home a surprise for you!" I whipped open the sliding door to reveal the prize find. To be truthful it was a little sorry looking, but my wife, being a good Irish girl, appreciates the value of something for nothing, and cleaned it up, threw a cover over it, and it served us well for many years until recently replaced.
