I just did this a month ago. Went to a junk yard and pulled the light and the metal plate that backs up the light. Took out the headliner (a job), cut the hole at same distance from front and edge as original on driver's side, and ran 3 wires down the A post on passenger side. 1 Wire is straight to ground. 2nd wire is to pin switched ground (connect to wire that goes from driver to passenger pin switch). 3rd wire is to hot side of map light (this is same circuit as driver side dome light). It's nice to have dome lights on both sides.
