Someone would actually WANT a smaller wheel? That huge thing was the first thing that struck me when I test-drove my van at the dealer. Told my husband it felt like I was driving a bus at first (like real big-bus). It was very different being so big, but also EXTREMELY comfortable. I don't know, maybe it's just me, but it's a perfect fit. My elbows can rest comfortably on the armrests and hold each side of the wheel. Very stress-free driving. My husband thinks so too - can easily, comfortably, drive long trips.

I just can't see a smaller wheel being comfortable, but that's just me I guess.

Just my two cents, Tonya 87 Vanagon GL Wolfs
