Subject: Help with input shaft on tranny
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Hello Folks,

has anybody ever removed the input shaft from the diesel tranny. I need it to put into my gas tranny as part of my Vanagon conversion.

Bently says(on page 35.5) remove clip and push back the reverse gear.

I did this. then unscrew shaft. I tried and it will not come out. Does it need to be in a certain gear? It seems very somple but Iam having trouble...

please help if you can?

Thank you

Got greasy fingers... back to the tranny Paulc W1VLF Cloudbounce Webpage http://www.qsl.net/w1vlf/
