Nope. It is silent until the little cooling fan on the rear comes on, which
varies. I taken an hour or two on ours if it is very cool out, and we have
doors open.
Also try lighting the fridge again (gas) in the late evening, after the sun
goes down, and you can see the flame in the flame port more clearly.
Sometimes pumping a little more air after it is lit will help move the
exhaust up and out, just watch the flame, and pump more or less based on
flame size, intensity.
Our 12v doesn't seem to work either. But the gas and 120v will both make
ice in a hot van.

Hi Everybody:

Well, today I tried my fridge for the very first time since I got the Westy
in November. No luck on AC/DC or propane.

The two fuses behind the drivers seat are OK. Tried plugging in the fridge
directly into extension cord to isolate problems further. Still, no luck.

Anybody have any ideas? Does this fridge make any sound, vibration or other
indication it's working, beyond getting cold?

The one good thing is that at least my stove elements work!
