Hello,

My van has developed a leak on the heads at the point where the nut to tighten the heads down near where the spark plugs are. Also I think the rings are gone and need to replaced, not to mention the rear main seal on the crankshaft is leaking too. Just wondering on some advice on this repair, is it worth doing on your own to save the money? What kind of special tools will you need? Any recommended places to get either new or well rebuilt heads from? Also it would be nice to hear from people who have performed this repair on their own before.

TIA,

Joe
