Brent... We use a Yakima rack mounted on the back hatch, so that the bikes hang vertical. You need the Q41 clips, if I recall correctly, and the standard roof mount. Mount your racks so that the crossbars hang @ top and bottom of the rear hatch, and your steelhead (or whatever fork mount you have) hanging vertically. Works great, we've carried 4 bikes this way for thousands of miles... John, 90 syncro GL camper SLC
