I've found that a washer will more than drain the Westy's water tank
unless you do only very small loads.  Plus, the "spin" cycle puts quite
a strain on my power invertor, so we're back to pounding our clothes
on rocks down at the creek.

Oh, wait, you said "transport", not "install"...

Well, then, I've carried a dryer, which is pretty much the same size as
a washer, or maybe a bit larger.  There was no problem fitting it in.
