Really there is no need to say you have updated your site just to get us to
visit.

Be honest and list the URL and what you offer.  Better yet, join the
discussions on the list, help out those in need, and offer us discounts.

Of course this is not as bad as when Ron tried to get us all to try out his
shopping cart just to make sure it's working correctly.

BTW, my web site has had lots of problems lately, so if you all wouldn't mind
visiting it to make sure it is still there.  And while you're at it, buy
something, just to make sure the stuff I offer really exists.
