Subject: Paulchen racks and bikes

Does anyone with a Paulchen rack (new style) use it to carry bikes? In looking at the pictures on the Eurocampers web site, it looks like they mount with both tires on the bike. I HATE this method of mounting bikes, and much prefer the fork-mount (e.g. Yakima Steelhead) method.

Has anyone tried mounting the Yakima Steelhead type carriers onto a Paulchen rack? Can an owner of a Paulchen tell me if they think this would work?

Quite frankly, if I buy a Paulchen, it will be strictly to carry bikes. I already own two sets of Yakima racks, but I don't want to carry bike on top of the Westy...

Thanks

Brent Christensen
