While Ron is going with the Bra, jock strap quilt, i want to construct a piece of functional sculpture for BurningMan.

What i have in mind is a rocket...a flying phallus, to be precise. I want to build one at least six feet tall (1:10 scale) that will achieve about 100 feet of altitude minimum, 300 feet ideally, before flipping around and parachuting back to earth...or exploding gloriously upon reaching max altitude.

I have lots of experience handling explosives as i used to set off several thousand pounds of explosives off a day in the mountains as a shooter on a siesmic crew in alaska and wyoming. I have no experience with rockets or rocket fuels. Is my project feasible? Any ideas on fuel or engines or design sources?

Even if such a large phallus rocket is not feasible, i still want to build a rocket of some size and do something with it. Thanks steve
