As the guy who started this thread, I think I should report back and let everyone know that I picked up the new Washer and Dryer today from Costco (decided to forgo the hand-me downs and the camping trip - at least for now) Of course, had the also get the regular 200lb "load" of Costco goodies; everything fit like a dream, even with the cardboard boxes for the W/D. Talk about a versatile machine! And the amazing thing is, Westies are so overweight and under powered to begin with, that you don't even notice the extra weight - its *still* slow! :-) Brent Christensen '89 Syncro Westy "Klaus" '91 Taurus SHO (For Sale) '95 Cherokee Sport ----- Original Message ----- From: Kent Christensen <lkchris@USWEST.NET> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Thursday, April 29, 1999 6:07 PM Subject: Re: Biggest/Strangest loads carried in a Westy
