Subject: Westy makes thumping noise when going over bumps

My 85 Westy makes a thumping sound when going over small bumps and pot holes. This started when I recently replace the shocks. The shocks are right - KYBs in the back and Monroes in the front. I checked the installation and its fine. Westy does not sag - can some please give me some advice on what might be causing this thumping sound? Thanks Wally
