You mean that I shouldn't have my 120 liter propane tank under the back seat of my Vanagon (dual fuel), or the 360 liters that I have in the back of my F*rd van? (I'm a hot-air balloonist). *If* there was any risk of explosion, these stainless steel or titanium tanks would give me plenty of notice to run to the next town :-)

We should all consider ourselves fortunate that the propane vendors add a smelling agent so it's normally immediately obvious when there is a leak (yes, propane has no natural smell).
