After reading with a laugh Jim's story of running over his own tail light during a repair, karma didn't take long to strike.

I was drilling the driver's side windsheild post to mount a grab handle like one the passenger side, and guess what? there's a wire harness in there--or in my case there used to be.

I drilled right throught the wire harness that supplies power to the dome and kitchen lights in my camper. Not my proudest moment. But while I've got the headliner out and I'm doing some rewiring I'm gonna wire an addition light over by the passenger's seat.

And why the grab handle on the driver's side? I thought it might make me look cooler when I'm getting into the bus. I'll let you know if it works. I suppose I could have looked cooler by getting myself a nice pair of plaid pants instead-- alot less rewiring involved.
