Just so you know, there are multiple opinions on what are the best shocks
for the Vanagon--I don't think there is any solid consensus on this issue.
I have tried both the OEM Boge and aftermarket KYB GasAdjust on my 87 syncro
camper and am convinced that the KYBs offer the best performance (at the
expense of a somewhat harsher ride.) If you want some more info and opinions
check the archives--there have been numerous threads on this topic.
