When the droplink breaks at the step where the machining ends--and that's where it always breaks--or my four did--then it is easy to lube up the bushing with some silicon spray and work it off the end of the stabilizer bar. I haven't dealt with getting a whole droplink installed--I let my mechanic do that! However, for the one pictured (or really its twin, since I had two made up together, preparing for the other side), the report was that it was a bear to assemble, since it is slightly longer than the original. So flexing the stabilizer bar up or the wheel down to get the threaded end inserted was hard. I would advise that the bolt be cut so the droplink ends up the same dimension as an original. Hope this helps, Richard A. Jones Boulder
