Date: Thu, 6 May 1999 18:51:01 -0700 David - I hadn't thought of it until you mentioned Prince George, but I have been thinking about heading up that way in June. My son and I have talked about camping in Jasper and then going over your way to visit Barkerville. Other than the privilege of seeing you :-) is Barkerville worth visiting? What's the weather likely to be in mid-June? Would I be better off waiting until later in the summer? - Mike Finkbiner '87 Westy PS I am in the process of fitting two additional fans to my Dometic, one inside and one outside, each with it's own thermostat. For the inside one, it solves the problem of switching it on and off, and for the outside one, if it goes as planned I will have one fan turn on when the temp gets warm, and both fans will run if the heat keeps rising. I'll write up an article when I find out how well this works! >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> From: David Marshall <vanagon@VOLKSWAGEN.ORG> Subject: Re: travel to ak I'm sure the list will help you with the must haves for the trip - my recommendation is a tool box so you can install a belt etc etc. I am extending an open invitation to any list member doing the AK trek to stop in and have a coffee at my house. I live in Quesnel, which is on highway 97 about 125km south of Prince George. I also have a fairly large yard so feel free to pop the top and camp out here too!
