Drink it all the time with no problem. Think of it a a big canteen and treat it accordingly (which you seem to be doing). Unless you get some water from the "boondocks" there is sufficient chlorine and such added to ensure no buggies can grow for some time. ----- Original Message ----- From: paul banks <paulbanks@NLLFAN.COM> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Tuesday, May 04, 1999 11:19 PM Subject: fresh water
> How many listmembers out there actually drink the water from the fresh water tank? I flush mine out every year with a water and bleach solution. However, I am still leary of drinking the water directly from the tank because I don't trust that it doesn't have some debilitating bacteria growing in the system. I just use the water just for coffee and for the dishes. > > > > Paul Banks > '89 Vanagon Westfalia > > Signup for your FREE NLL FAN account at http://www.nllfan.com |
