Mexican loafs use I4 gas engines which are bolt- equivalent with the diesels. Conversion would involve getting parts (engine mounts, bell housing, flywheel, cooling system etc.) from a crashed Mexican loaf. Install engine mounts and engine, run coolant hoses and cut out the nose for a radiator and grill. /Martin -- Westy 1.9l Turbo Diesel Quantum 1.6l Turbo Diesel -- Martin Jagersand email: jag@cs.yale.edu Computer Science Department jag@cs.rochester.edu Yale University Slow down and visit the VW diesel Westy page: WWW: http://www.cs.rochester.edu/u/jag/vw ------------------------------------------------------------------- |
