Should've been more specific in my earlier post.

My Jetta and my wabbit both ran this oil/coolant "cooler" and while I feel it is better than nothing, I do not believe it to be the optimal solution. The problems include the possibilty of the seals failing and oil/coolant cross contamination (I've seen this) and when operating at sustained high rpms any cooling that takes place is marginal.

I've switched the wabbit to a ten row oil cooler and had a similar idea for the van but was looking for suggestions for placement.
