I just bought that new Prestone 150 long life anti-freeze it is Phosphate free and EG with some EP in it. I remember some one trying this stuff recently (where are you)? What were your results? Also no vendors seemed to be able to produce a 180 degree thermostat in 5 days so my only choice is a 180 degree STANT brand thermostat from FLAPS and no stat gasket :( Should I go with this or leave the one that is in there alone till next flush time???? What about water pump lubricant? I heard it is very good in all other cars. Last but not least do all you Syncro owners out there have your Distribution Units mounted on there side or upright like it shows in the Fast german Auto catalog?? Mine is on it's side and has a straight hose going to the right radiator pipe not a curved one like in the diagram????
