So, now that I've basically 'used up' a junkyard 1.9 TD, what next? Should I replace it with a new 1.9 TD (and add an intercooler and oil-cooler!), search for a TDI used, or beg one of the European listmembers to locate a 5 cylinder TD or TDI? The 1.9 was great when compared to the old wasserleaker it replaced, but still leaves me wishing for more on those big hills and mt. passes. (Any leads in tracking down a 1.9TDI pkg. or 5 cyl. TD/TDI would be greatly appreciated!) An '89 or newer 5 cyl TD would be my first choice if I could really find one. Thanks for any and all input.

Karl '87 Westy Syncro 1.9 TD
