Yes they are new.. and Canadian tire honors their warranty... I've got a
feeling that you are referring to NAPA parts.... which my experience, has
been that they are just as good as FORD... in quality & warranty... but NAPA
does give a one year 12k km warranty in Canada... I've used them on my
Hondas, Nissans..... never had to replace them.... my personal experience
with at least 8 vehicles, has been, when I start to really hear the CV's,
not just the rumbles, but the rock & roll, I've replaced the shafts with
rebuilt ones and the vehicles ended up rusting away before I ever had a need
for another shaft...my 84 Honda stationwagon went 350k km... until there
wasn't anything left under the car for the suspension to stay connected
to..... just plain blown away by the gravel roads I drive on.... but the
remand shafts weren't clicking, and it started better than anything around
here in -40 weather.
