Listees,

I discovered an extremely useful device available from Kennedy Engineered Products while perusing their Subaru conversion info.

It is a beautifully made petcock assembly that replaces the bolt "plug" on the top of the radiator that is so difficult to get back in while coolant is coming out during system bleeding.

This petcock includes a removable length of copper tubing that allows you to collect the coolant as well as avoid drawing air back into the system.

You can't beat this! Convenience, environmentally friendly, and you can keep most of the toxic coolant off the ground using this device.

You get a bonus piece that is used with the Subaru engine you can toss or keep just in case you convert someday, and the cost is $20, well worth it.

http://kennedyeng.com, they need to know the year of your Vanagon, and the item is "PET."
