In the past two weeks our 86 Vanagon has developed a case of "High RPMs at Idle", this happen many years ago and we had our dealer take care of the problem. I seem to recall it was a electronic part that should be easy to replace if I knew switch part it is.

BTW: I'm thinking about purchasing service manuals for our 86 so I can perform repairs myself. Can't seem to find a reasonable good mechanic in hayward, CA. Any recommendations regarding the manuals?
