Fellow Vanageeks, Today was a good day in getting the Westy ready for the season. All my parts finally showed up, including the transaxle. The transaxle was shipped by UPS to my surprise. I replaced the alternator, have 3 of 4 stainless stell flexible brake lines installed, and front wheels torn down to the spindels. I also got the rear drums off. The next step is to get the shoes off the rear and replace them, the hardware and the cylinders. Pull off the drivers side half shaft and replace the CV's. Pull the trans and install the new one. And put all the brakes back together.

Another day in Vanagon Paradise, I must say.....
