if you have a signal blinking at twice the pace you probably have a
bad/burnt out blinker bulb, check front and rear and brake lights. It
may be a lens cover came loose and allowed water in to short out your
bulb socket.

worth a look see anyway.

ps  when in doubt  replace the ignition switch, trust me on this one
