I haven't thus far but wouldn't hesitate to drink it.  We keep our water
tank full year round in case we have an earthquake or other disaster.  Our
Westy plays an important role in our disaster planning.  I drain and refill
the water regularly and do the bleach/baking soda wash once a year.
