It is common that the welds and pipes on the Vanagin Diesel muffler
rust out before there' seven a speck of rust on the muffler body itself.
If this is the case with yours just weld on new pipes.

Alternatively just find a good quality aftermarket muffler with the
same dimenstions and weld on the mounting brackets from your
old muffler and bolt back up.
