I had to lube the CVjoint, left rear on my Syncro last fall. When removing the allens on the outer joint, I noticed that one of the heads were broken off. After much swearing, I continued to remove the hub, as I quickly realized that no tool would get into the rear arm. Of course, because the head was broken, I assumed that the bolt was frozen. After getting the hub out, I clamped on a big locking pliers to turn the bolt, and it was totally loose! I could have just screwed it out with my fingers with the hub in place! Guess who sweared a bit more at that time ;-) All that work, just for nothing.
