Sorry to take so long to reply, Joel. I had trouble getting that thermostat housing bolt off that's next to the exhaust on my 1.9L <g>

Actually, I was using a 80 degree Wahler. The only problem I had with it was that rubber flap that covers those little holes disintegrated a few years ago and the van ran cold all the time. I couldn't get a replacement locally so I smeared JB Weld in most of the holes and it worked fine. Over the last winter I installed a rebuilt engine and replaced the thermostat with a 87 degree Wahler while I had it apart. The temperature gauge now stays just to the right of the warning light while with the 80 degree one it stayed just to the left. The heater is warmer now, which is a big plus in this area.
