Subject: Warning-was Do I forgive my VW
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Dear all...As you may have read from me recently I am having trouble with my clutch hydraulics.

Learn from my recent experience and be warned that the short metal fluid pipe that runs between the flexi hose and the clutch slave cylinder is no longer available from VW (even in Germany) or anywhere else. I am at the moment trying to get one made up at a local hydraulic specialist. The bore is apparently too big for my FLAPS.

Anyone with time on their hands should get underneath and Waxoil their clutch pipes ASAP, especially over the fuel tank and up near the gear box.
