The archives weren't any help so does anyone know if the pillar and door grab
handles on an '87 Westfalia are the same as the grab handles on other VW cars
such as Golf or Jetta?  Vanagons and Westfalias are as rare as hens teeth in my
locality so obtaining parts from junkers in junk yards is pretty well out of the
question. Ergo, I'm hoping to find a grab handle from another model VW to mount
on the driver's side pillar.
