Steven, you need to check out some of the new offerings in fluorescents. I have 80% of my house outfitted with compact fluorescent bulbs. You can now get a range of light "warmth", intensity and wattage. They live forever (my longest has been going regularly for over 4 years old) and consume much less energy. I would welcome their use in my Westy where battery power is a scarce commodity.
