"Bateries Plus" carries them for around $100. Check www.bateriesplus.com or call 1-800-67-START.

They carry batteries for literally *everything* that takes a battery, and will even create custom batteries for antique and odd-ball equipment.

Can anyone tell me where I can order an Optima Battery to use as a 2nd battery in my "90 Westie?

I understand that it would be a good choice for replacement for the Interstate Battery that the former owner had installed, (it just won't hold a charge very well-around 3 or so weeks) since the Optima is a gel battery, deep discharge, and I also understand that it can be installed on its side and use the side terminals.

Thanks for any info.

Ralph
