Thanks to all who responded to my query regarding grab handles. The gods must
love to make fools of us mortals because just the very same day after I
commented about how rare junker vanagons are in my locality...guess what shows
up at the local junkyard?....a 1980 Westfalia. Since then I've been circling the
yard like a vulture picking off parts to carry as spares in my Westfalia. The
pickings so far...grab handle, courtesy light, air deleflectors for the hot
footwell kit, and headlight switch. I had my eye on the rear interior light but
at a price of $125, I sadly declined :(.


Any other suggestions for items that might be useful?
