Problem solved!!...I had the part made up from copper 'bunjie??' pipe. Bends by hand to any shape, cheap too. Before I got this part I went back to my VW dealer and asked about any updated part numberes. They then contacted the German factory and the answer was a rather blunt, discontinued...sorry...bye. All is well that ends well.
