I quit using it when I had a leak, and I was running around trying to find someone who sold it on a Sunday. Mobil 1 for me now... I think you have the numbers backwards tho - I believe the oil was 12500, and the filter was 25. --- Chris Cochella <cochella@XMISSION.COM> wrote: > A friend of mine introduced me to AMSOIL a synthetic > oil product. that > requires changing every 25,000 miles and oil filters > requiring 12, 500 > miles. > > I know there have been discussions regarding > synthetic oil in general. > > Is there anyone with experience using AMSOIL with > their Vanagon. > > Thanks in advance. > > Chris > > -- > Chris Cochella > Cochella Consulting > 801-487-4783 (tel & fax) > cochella@xmission.com > === Mark 87 Westfalia Gl 84 Scirocco 8v http://members.tripod.com/~jehanno _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
