I agree with Steve, buy a set from him. I sent my McNeil wind/rain
deflector back to McNeil because they didn't fit well and were too loose.
They actually slide down the window tracks as you drove. I didn't have as
good luck with them on my return as you had. It took about three or four
months after I sent them back to get my credit, and I only got that because
I called up to complain. They had received my returned deflectors, but they
didn't check it in properly so I never got the credit. I had the original
paperwork included so that they would know exactly where it came from, and I
had the return authorization number they gave me written in big black
letters on all sides of the box.
When I heard the Steve had gotten a new shipment of deflectors in, I decided
to order a set from him. I was concerned when I heard that these were also
made by a company tied to McNeil, but Steve assured me I could return them
if they didn't fit well. Luckily, I didn't have too because they fit much
better and seemed to be of a better quality material then the McNeil brand.
And they were also cheaper since his price includes shipping. If you are
thinking of getting one, don't waste your time with the McNeil brand, get it
from Steve.
