As I was driving through the foot deep water that is all too common in Houston at this time of year, I was wondering if anyone has hooked up a snorkle system to their vanagon. I have seen them on a lot of 4 wheelers, but really don't know what goes into it. It seems like it'd be pretty easy to run a hose up the side of the van & have an intake in one of the upper rear vents. Would you need to set up something for exhaust too? would a submerged exhaust system cause a back up of exhaust pressure & damage anything? How hard would it be to make the rest of the system watertight enough to run through a short submersion? just kicking ideas around in my head... :) === Mark 87 Westfalia Gl 84 Scirocco 8v http://members.tripod.com/~jehanno _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
